Module Title: Using Buddy Journals for ESL and Native Speakers

Module Overview: Participants learn strategies to assist regular classroom teachers in simultaneously developing the literacy skills of native and non-native English speaking students. Participants gain all information necessary to implement buddy journals with their students. Access to a classroom comprised of students with diverse language backgrounds is essential in order to complete module requirements.

Technology requirements include the ability to send and receive email with and without attachments, use a word processing program such as Microsoft Word, and access and navigate the Internet.
