Module Overview: Participants examine the concept of phonemic awareness, explore assessment strategies and teaching suggestions, and describe ways to integrate phonemic awareness instruction within existing practices. Access to one or more students is needed to complete the requirements for this module.
Technology requirements include the ability to send and receive email with and without attachments, use a word processing program such as Microsoft Word, and access and navigate the Internet.
