Module Title: "WebQuests II - Developing Literature WebQuests for Children and Young Adults"
(to be completed after WebQuest I or by participants with significant WebQuest experience)

Grade: Suitable for all grade levels

Module Overview: Participants create a short-term Literature-based WebQuest that can be used as an effective tool for actively engaging students in the reading process. Examples of well-designed WebQuests are suggested encompassing a wide variety of curriculum goals/objectives integrating multiple subject areas. Participants rewrite an existing WebQuest to better suit the needs of a particular group of students by incorporating different tasks and processes.

Technology requirements include the ability to send and receive email with and without attachments, use a word processing program such as Microsoft Word, and access and navigate the Internet.
