27th Annual Reading/Language Arts Conference

The Mary Lois Staton Reading/Language Arts Conference presents an excellent professional development opportunity for educators. The day-long conference will feature a keynote speaker, authors luncheon speaker, and concurrent sessions presented by teachers and university faculty members. A variety of topics will be presented for pre-K through high school educators.

The Mary Lois Staton Reading/Language Arts Conference is sponsored by the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, College of Education, East Carolina University. Each year the conference brings national, regional, and local speakers on literacy education issues to the one day conference in Greenville, North Carolina. Co-directors of this event are Lanette Moret and Kathy Misulis, with conference committee members: Terry Atkinson, Tom Caron, Alice Feret, Robin Griffith, and Elizabeth Swaggerty.
