Mission of the Counselor Education Association

The Counselor Education Association (CEA) is an organization of graduate students from the counselor education program. Its purpose is to promote the counseling profession and encourage student involvement in state and national counseling associations. The CEA organizes meetings throughout the year to inform students of professional issues and other topics of interest. The association also seeks funding to support student registration and participation at state counseling conferences. Officers of the CEA are elected by the student membership and a faculty advisor is appointed each year.
