Dr. J. Scott Glass Assistant Professor Program Coordinator Dr. J. Scott Glass is Program Coordinator for Counselor Education; his primary research focuses on group work, spirituality in counseling, and adventure based counseling. Dr. Glass has published articles in Professional Issues in Counseling, Journal of Humanistic Counseling Education & Development and Professional School Counseling. He is active in numerous counseling associations and has presented internationally in Hong Kong for the Oxford Symposium in School- Based Family Counseling. Dr. Joseph C. Ciechalski Professor Dr. Joseph Ciechalski’s primary research areas are self-concept, social skills, assessment, nonparametric techniques, school counseling, ethics, and helping techniques. Dr. Ciechalski has published in Professional School Counseling and The Journal of Invitational Theory and Practice. He also co-authored Psychological Techniques for Counselors (2nd Ed.) with Dr. Don Locke and edited with Drs. Ed Gerler and Larry Parker, titled, Elementary School Counseling in a Changing World.
