The Department of Economics invites applications for two fixed-term (non-tenure track) positions to begin August 16, 2010. Duties include teaching four courses per semester and some departmental service. Master's degree required. Preference will be given to candidates with a completed doctorate, teaching experience, evidence of effective teaching, and the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses, including distance education.

The Department has growing and successful undergraduate and MS programs, and also participates in interdisciplinary MS and PhD programs. ECU is the third largest and fastest growing of the 16 UNC campuses, with a student population in excess of 27,000.
