Internships
Each student in the MLS program is required to enroll in LIBS 6991 and complete a 110-hour on-site internship in a library setting appropriate to the student's area of concentration. The goal of the internship is to provide the candidate an opportunity to apply knowledge gained from coursework, research, and independent study through work experience while still under the supervision of an experienced and professionally qualified librarian.
