Internship Fact Sheet & Application for EDTC 6992

Involves 110 hours of observation and practical experience in a school or other setting appropriate to the student's area(s) of specialization.

Prerequisites: A minimum of 24 credit hours from required courses in the MAEd program of studies. Students in the MAEd program must complete an internship supervised by an individual who holds a 077 Instructional Technology Specialist - Computer's License or a similar certification.

Internship Proposal for EDTC 6992 

  1. Contact information for Internship supervisor, email, telephone, address.
  2. Description of proposed Internship project(s).
  3. Identify specific objectives or goals that you expect to achieve during the internship.
  4. Each activity must be matched to a specific state or national standard.

Internship Report  for EDTC 6992  

Please submit a final report at the conclusion of your internship for EDTC 6992. The report should be written reflectively and linked to your final portfolio which is required culminating project for your MAEd in Instructional Technology. The final report should include:  

  1. The name and contact information for Internship supervisor, email, telephone, address.
  2. Identify specific objectives or goals that you had expected to achieve during the internship.
  3. Description of Internship project(s) that were completed. These should be written reflectively with a description of the goals, what you achieved, what was not achieved, and how the experienced impacted you as a professional in the field of Instructional Technology.
  4. Outcomes from your internship must be matched to state or national standards.
  5. Conclude with a summary of outcomes from the experience.
