The Gamma Chapter (sometimes known as the Mathematics Education Club) is a student affiliate of the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCCTM) which is an affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). This is a student organization that is devoted to issues related to teaching and learning mathematics at all grade levels. The goal of the chapter is to provide experiences and opportunities to assist students in becoming exemplary mathematics educators. Membership in the Gamma Chapter is free and the organization hosts monthly professional development meetings, makes plans for attending the annual conference of the NCCTM, encourages its members to get involved in mathematics education service (e.g., assisting with the annual Math Contest), and hosts an occasional social event.

- It is easy to join! You may either go to Mathematics Education Club's website to fill out an application online or print out this Gamma Chapter application form and return it to Dr. Adu-Gyamfi either by leaving it at the MSITE office, dropping it off at Dr. Adu-Gyamfi's office in Flanagan or scanning and emailing it to him.
