Dr. Diana Lys was an invited participant in a New Teacher Center (NTC), Teachers for a New Era (TNE) and the Learning Network (LN) Policy Roundtable: Preservice – Induction Linkages: Policy Implications and Recommendations. The Carnegie Corporation generously funded the New Teacher Center Policy Roundtable focusing on distilling key policy insights pursuant to the alignment of preservice education and new teacher induction programs. The roundtable brought together representatives of TNE/LN institutions that partnered with the NTC during the 2007-08 academic year and state policy leaders who shape policies influencing preservice and/or new teacher induction programs.
