2006 & 2007: David Gabbard and Karen Anijar Appleton’s Fearless Speech in Fearful Times: An Essay Review of Capitalists and Conquerors, Teaching against Global Capitalism and the New Imperialism, and Teaching Peter McLaren (originally published in The Monthly Review on 30/10/05) was translated into Spanish and published in a Colombian academic journal Opciones Pedagógicas operated out of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. The translated title of Gabbard & Anijar’s work is Un Discurso Intrépido en Tiempos Horrendos.
Gabbard also recently (January 07) published an essay in The International Journal of Inclusive Democracy, entititled:
