January 2008: Dr. Swaggerty and Dr. Amy Broemmel of The University of Tennessee published a chapter titled, “Examining the Possibilities: Planning your Research Project” in Teachers Taking Action: A Comprehensive Guide to Teacher Research, an International Reading Association book edited by Cynthia Lassonde and Susan Israel. The title guides teachers through the process of conducting research to inform instructional practice.
