An article by Dr. Steven Schmidt, Assistant Professor in the Department of Counselor and Adult Education, entitled "The Relationship Between Job Training and Job Satisfaction" was recently accepted for publication by Human Resource Development (HRD) Quarterly.  HRD Quarterly is a publication sponsored by the Academy of Human Resource Development and the American Society for Training and Development.  It is the first scholarly journal focused directly on the evolving field of human resource development, and is a national forum for interdisciplinary exchange on the subject of HRD.
