edTPA™ is a valid and reliable summative capstone assessment to assess candidate readiness and provide data to inform program improvement.
Teacher candidates complete multiple components for the edTPA™ . These include
edTPA™ was designed by teachers and teacher educators to support candidate learning and provide data that support preparation program growth and renewal. edTPA is aligned with Common Core State Standards and InTASC Standards, and assesses teaching behaviors that focus on student learning.
