SECU Partnership East Service Areas

SECU ApplyThe East Carolina University College of Education has established SECU Partnership East. Through collaboration and innovation, the partnership focuses on preparing teachers who will help meet the demand for well-trained professionals in the classrooms of North Carolina and beyond. This endeavor involves partnerships with community colleges and public schools across eastern North Carolina.

The SECU Partnership East Coastal Service Area Office, located on the New Bern Campus of Craven Community College serves as a central location for all information relating to Coastal Service Area students. Interested students should schedule an initial appointment. Copies of all college transcripts should be brought to the initial meeting. Plan to spend one hour in the initial meeting. The SECU Partnership East North Central Service Area hub site office located at Nash Community College serves as a central location for all information relating to North Central Service Area students. Mrs. Kathy Bradley is the coordinator for the hub site. Interested students should schedule an initial appointment with Mrs. Bradley. Copies of all college transcripts should be brought to the initial meeting which will last approximately one hour. To schedule an appointment, call or e-mail Mrs. Bradley.

The Virtual Service Area of SECU Partnership East is a collaboration between the ECU College of Education and North Carolina Community Colleges. The goal of the partnership is to offer Bachelor Degree programs through totally online delivery.

The SECU Partnership East Virtual Service Area office, located on the ECU campus, will serve as a central location for all information relating to Virtual Service Area students. Ms. Karli Ruscoe is the hub site coordinator. Interested students should schedule an initial appointment with Ms. Ruscoe. Copies of all transcripts should be brought to the initial meeting. Plan to spend one hour in the initial meeting.

To schedule an appointment, call the office (252) 328-5668 or send an appointment request by e-mail. Office hours vary during the semester, and are influenced by office responsibilities. When Ms. Ruscoe is teaching, attending related meetings on other campuses, or otherwise not in the office, students are encouraged to e-mail her.
