SECU Partnership East is making it possible for students throughout eastern North Carolina to obtain four-year degrees in education from East Carolina University in their local communities.
Students graduate with a four-year degree from ECU by completing the first two years of the program at any one of our partnering community colleges followed by taking ECU courses online. Throughout the program, students are placed in public school classrooms in or near their home communities to participate in learning opportunities related to their online coursework. A supervised, full-time internship in a public school classroom is required for all students in the senior year.
