On January 19, our alumni and current members will create disaster relief kits for distribution to 50 elderly residents of Pitt County who are served by the Pitt County Meals on Wheels program.  We will begin the day’s activities with a speaker for the American Red Cross.  This speaker will discuss disaster relief and how it affects the elderly population.  Our alumni will be in charge of dividing the members into working groups to prepare the kits and providing assistance in linking each group to a senior citizen.   

The event will run from 9-12.  I have attached a copy of the agenda to this email.  I hope that you will join us for the activities.  Please email me to let me know if you will be available.  The event will begin at 9 at the Chapel ran by the Intergenerational Center.
