Angelina Knies
Class of 2012
Major: English Education
Hometown: Fayetteville, NC

What you'd probably find on my iPod: Anything as long as it is not any form of country music.

About Me: Well my name is Angelina Knies. I am a recent graduate of Massey Hill Classical High School and now am an official pirate at ECU! I am extremely excited for my freshman college experience to begin. I am looking forward to classes starting on August 20th, which is also the day that I will be celebrating my birthday! I am going to be studying English Education here at ECU and have a long term goal to receive my Ph.D. I love to talk and I love to be a leader. Throughout high school, I always participated in leadership roles, many of them including roles in which I was the class representative. I also love music. I have been singing since I came out of the womb, and I have played piano for 14 years! I also play percussion in the band but I am not fantastic at that yet. Well that's all for now! Hopefully I'll see you around campus! Please stop me and say hi! Bye!!

Michael W. House
Class of 2012
Major: Secondary English Education
Hometown: Scotland Neck (30 miles south of Virginia for those who have never heard of the town)

As an incoming freshman and Teaching Fellow, I am thrilled to be attending ECU. I graduated from Hobgood Academy in the spring, and though there were numerous campuses offering the Teaching Fellows scholarship, I quickly realized ECU has the best program and staff. Interesting fact I graduated with only 20 people in my class. Aside from education I enjoy anything from sports to American Idol. Basketball and tennis are my favorite sports, Brothers and Sisters and American Idol are my favorite t.v shows, and lastly I listen to most music, but do not care for country music. I plan to attend as many sporting events as possible and delve into the many clubs and organizations the school offers. If anyone has any remarks or questions about ECU or the Teaching Fellows program, I would love to read about them or answer anything about which you have a question.
