Kinesiology

East Carolina Physical Fitness Association (ECPFA)
ECPFA purpose is to promote health through physical activity; to raise money for charitable organizations through activity; and to promote a higher morale and level of fitness throughout the University and the surrounding community.

Kinesiology Majors Club
This club is for those majoring in any one of the four majors under Kinesiology.  These majors being the BA in Exercise and Sport Science, or the BS programs of Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, and Health Fitness Specialist.

Pre-Physical Therapy Club
The purpose of this organization shall be to meet the needs of those students who are interested in learning more about the Physical Therapy profession. By joining the organization, students who are interested in applying to Physical Therapy school will be more knowledgeable and better informed about the Physical Therapy profession prior to completing their application. The ECU Pre-Physical Therapy Club will hold meetings and activities designed to improve the club members understanding of Physical Therapy and the demands associated with applying to Physical Therapy school.

Colleges against Cancer
American Cancer Society Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by initiating and supporting programs of the American Cancer Society in college communities.

Health Educators Preparing for Tomorrow's Advancement (H.E.P.T.A.)
We, the members of H.E.P.T.A., are a unified representation of the six disciplines of Health Education of the College of Health and Human Performance. H.E.P.T.A. offers all members the opportunity to become an involved member of the East Carolina University and Greenville community. H.E.P.T.A.'s mission is to unify the six disciplines of Health Education as one; establish well being among the East Carolina University and Greenville communities; acquire stability for all members through work related experiences with prospective careers; and procures dignity while retaining the respect and honor associated with Health Education professions.

HOSA
HOSA is a national student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA Mission Statement The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science technology education students, therefore, helping students to meet the needs of the health care community.

Future Healthcare Managers of ECU
Founded for students interested in a career in Health Services Management. It is designed to provide future health care practitioners and others with the skills and competencies to function as supervisors and managers in health care settings.
Student Health Information Management Association
This organization is for students that are interested in Health Information Management or allied health careers. We are a service organization and strive to uphold leadership abilities.

Recreation and Leisure Studies

RCLS Undergraduate Society
The purpose of the Recreaion and Leisure Studies Student Society shall be to promote the welfare of its members and the students of Recreation & Leisure Studies. Also, to promote community relations, for members and students to gain experience in humanitarian activities, and be involved in professional and leisure service activities at East Carolina University. Also to promote the involvement of members and students with professional organizations at the State and National levels pertaining to the RCLS field.

Student Rehabilitation Association
The purpose of ECUSRA is to increase public understanding of the role and function of rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities, and to promote the development of professional training opportunities for those engaged in rehabilitation. We participate in various community activities and fundraising projects. It is open to any ECU student interested.
