ECU Minor Info

Not all HHP majors require a minor.  However, if a minor is required it will be clearly stated as part of your major's requirements.  If required, the minor will need to be identified and approved by your major's program director at the time you declare.

Most minors consist of 24 semester hours and can easily be worked into your program of study.  However, depending on your major and the minor you choose, it may take extra time to complete.  This is why it is important that you discuss with your advisor your intention to minor in something as early as possible.

Students may research minors using the online ECU catalog.  Follow steps below:

  1. Access applicable online ECU catalog.
  2. Click on "Academic Programs" found at the left-hand side menu.
  3. Select "Minors-Undergraduate" found at the top of the page.
  4. Select minor of interest.  Scroll until you find program information.
