The Biomechanics Laboratory (1800 sq ft) is a state-of-the-art laboratory with five primary data collection systems. The Laboratory has three AMTI force platforms that are used in a level walk/run way, a stairway, and an inclined ramp. They can also be used in conjunction with a leg press machine. The Laboratory has both video cameras and electronic (Qualisys) motion capture systems. The Laboratory also has Noraxon telemetric, Bortec tethered and Myopak tethered EMG systems and KinCom and HUMACNorm isokinetic dynamometers. The Laboratory has numerous related peripheral electronics and computers. There is office and meeting space within the laboratory for graduate students and faculty.
