The Department of Exercise and Sport Science, within the College of Health and Human Performance, at East Carolina University is in a unique position to search for a faculty member in a health-related biomedical field. Areas of interest would include, but are not limited to, exercise physiology, basic/applied physiology, biochemistry, metabolism, and cardiovascular sciences. Service to the university,community, and profession is expected. The intent of this position is to enhance the quality of research and doctoral education at ECU and provide recognition to the university in the form of scientific publications and grant support. Individuals at the assistant/associate levels will be considered. The position is tenure-track and state-funded with salary and start-up package commensurate with experience. A joint appointment in the Brody School of Medicine and/or the Human Performance Laboratory is possible based on area of expertise.
