This degree program prepares graduates for careers in the health and fitness industry including employment in corporate and commercial fitness, wellness centers, public and private fitness centers, YMCAs and YWCAs, personal training, and athletic performance centers.Job duties could include group fitness leadership, program development, exercise prescription, personal training, fitness testing, designing incentive programs or administrative tasks.The degree is endorsed by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

A minimum cumulative 2.0 is required for admission, including the successful completion of the motor and physical fitness test.
