Operation Sunshine is a non-profit organization that provides at risk girls age 6-13 a safe place to go after school. They also provide homework help, snacks and a chance for the girls to grow and learn together.
Working at Operation Sunshine was a truly memorable experience for me. Seeing their bright and shining faces everyday made even my worst days seem better. The girls have taught me so much over the past few weeks and I hope to continue volunteering for the rest of my college career.
