General Overview
The MS in Athletic Training is a post-BOC certification masters degree program. The 40-hour, two-year degree program courses are only available in a cohort format. The cohorts begin each second summer session (late June). It is an advanced masters degree for individuals who are currently BOC certified or eligible.) Distinguishing characteristics of this program include instruction in advanced skills and knowledge in athletic training, preparation for leadership roles, and a research experience that allows the certified athletic trainer to expand the broad base of skills valued by the athletic training profession.
