Maggie Haberny The Carolina Pregnancy Center is a non-profit, non-denominational organization offering support and services to women “touched by a possible crisis pregnancy, demonstrating the love of Christ to the woman, her unborn child, and those significant to her, and providing life-giving alternatives to the local community.” I’m Maggie Haberny, and I worked with the Carolina Pregnancy Center on campus putting up informational signs and offering additional information to people inquiring about the Center for my Service Learning Project in the Fall of 2005. Working with the Center made me look at my own opinions about pregnancy issues and issues involving abstinence-only education in public schooling in North Carolina. The Center is faith based, and calls for their volunteers to express similar ideologies as their own. My work with the Center was both fulfilling and convenient. I would suggest any person interested in working with the Center on campus to contact them at: Carolina Pregnancy Center PO Box 1964, 845 Johns-Hopkins Dr, Suite KB Greenville, NC 27835-1964 Phone: 252-757-0003
