Mission: The Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Committee is a team comprised of students, staff ,and faculty at ECU that identify, plan and implement proactive campus initiatives and programs to help reduce the problems associated with these issues on our college campus. We believe in both supporting students that choose to abstain from mood altering substances, or who choose to use them socially, legally, and in a healthy manner, as well as providing harm-reduction programming to those students that are at more risk for substance related difficulties. As there are a number of entities on campus that provide substance related education to students, this team is a primary conduit for discussing and coordinating these activities. We meet monthly during both the fall and spring semesters and all members are invited to participate as their time and schedule allow.
