The Department of Health Education and Promotion continues to expand its volunteer program to include service learning. Several classes within the department have participated in volunteer or service learning activities.

All HLTH 1050 students have chosen their volunteer or service learning placements.  This semester students will be donating their time and energy to several local organizations including: Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Operation Sunshine, The Pitt County AIDS Service Organization (PiCASO), the American Heart Association, and Growing Up Fit just to name a few.
