Ward Sports Medicine
The third floor of the Ward Sports Medicine building houses the ~5,000 sq. ft. Human Performance Laboratory (HPL). Included in this space are most of the faculty offices including the office of the Director of the HPL. This space is also home to its graduate and post graduate students. Students enjoy individual desk space and a networked computer lab as well as wireless connectivity.

The HPL contains core histology and blood lab facilities and equipment including digital imaging microscopy, a Beckman-Coulter Access Immunoassay System and cryogenic storage. In addition, a computer controlled environmental chamber is housed within the HPL to study human performance in terrestrial extremes.
