Charles A. Vincent Memorial Scholarship $1,000 total/$500 per semester Full-time Undergraduate
  • Declared RCLS major
  • Letter of recommendation, transcript, resume
  • Interview
  • 3.00 GPA
Michael Bunting Scholarship $1,200 per year total/$600 per semester Full-time Undergraduate
  • RCLS major
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Document financial need, academic merit, leadership potential, dedication to area of study
  • Must be NC resident
  • Any other criteria determined appropriate by the Selection Committee in accordance with its established policies and procedures, which may be modified from time to time
Michael Duquette Scholarship $1,000 total/$500 per semester
  • Students who demonstrate scholastic abilities in biofeedback and recreational therapy, are caring and compassionate
  • Must have completed biofeedback courses, or currently enrolled
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater
  • Submit 1 page paper, single spaced, on the importance of empathy, biofeedback, and recreation in the treatment process
Peggy Pruett Cromer Scholarship $1,000 total/$500 per semester Declared RT major
  • Demonstrate educational leadership potential
  • Involvement in profession
  • 2.5 GPA
Michael and Joni Bass Scholarship $1,000 total/$500 per semester Full-time Undergraduate
  • Recreational Therapy major
  • Academic ability (determined by RCLS scholarship committee)
  • Preference for students from Jones, Pamlico, and Craven counties
  • Any other criteria determined appropriate by the RCLS Scholarship committee in accordance with its established policies and procedures, which may be modified from time to time.
