On Saturday, October 22nd, 2005 from 9am-2pm the first Outdoors in October was held at River Park North in Greenville, North Carolina. This day was dedicated to enjoying a beautiful day at the park. Water activities provided were fishing, paddle boating, canoeing, and kayaking. Land activities provided were volleyball, horseshoes, Frisbee, board games, cards, hand crank cycling, and a science and nature museum exhibit. A registration fee was included.
