Prepares graduates for employment in commercial recreation and tourism, community & non-profit recreation, outdoor recreation and recreational sports leadership. Employment opportunities are available in resorts, tourism agencies, recreation retail, sports teams, recreation departments, water parks, YM/YWCAs, youth ministries, parks and forests. Graduates are eligible to apply for certification as park and recreation professionals. The program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of the National Recreation and Park Association.
