Second Life is a user-created 3-dimensional environment with great scholastic potential for creating an immersive, collaborative learning environment. Alumni Email Transitions to Office 365
June 5, 2013

Beginning June 5, alumni email accounts will transition from the current Windows Live service to Office 365. The Outlook interface will look and behave pretty much the same as Windows Live, but Messenger will be replaced with the Lync Online client that allows instant messaging between staff, students and faculty, online video/audio meetings and more. During the upgrade, users can continue to use all features of their account; emails, contacts and calendar events will transfer to the Office 365 account.

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:  After the transition, users should bookmark the new login: http://www.outlook.com/alumni.ecu.edu. SKYDRIVE becomes your personal account and can be accessed at http://skydrive.live.com using your alumni account credentials. ECU will no longer be able to help with password resets for the Skydrive account. Lync Online will need to be installed on your computer. A link to the download is found on the Home page.
