PirateID
What is Pirate ID?
PirateID is the new term that will be used to refer to your user ID, your username, your Exchange ID or etc. This ID is the one you use to log in to your e-mail. Since they are all the same, using a standardized name will make things much simpler.
Get Started
Faculty & Staff PirateIDs
Faculty and staff PirateIDs are made up of their last name and first initial. If a staff or faculty member's name is Pat T. Driver, her PirateID would be driverp. In instances when another person has the same first and last name, adding additional letters from the first name continues until a unique PirateID is created.
Student PirateIDs
For students your PirateID is made up of your initials and your birth date (MMDD). For example, a student's name is James Frederick Pate, and he was born on May 2nd, then his PirateID would be jfp0502.
