Download and install the Respondus Software
- ECU has a site-wide license for Respondus. The videos below explain how to download, install and link Respondus to a Blackboard or Moodle server.
Here is the VIDEO tutorial on how to download the Respondus application. This video starts at the point in which you need to log in.
Installing Respondus – Respondus is a simple install. All you need to do to kick it off is double click the application file you downloaded. Keep the “Installation Password” document within reach. You will need the software key and the university name ( East Carolina University) to add to the software wizard.

Linking Respondus to your Blackboard courses - Linking Respondus and Blackboard or Moodle will allow you to download tests, pools for editing within Respondus. You can take these tests and print them if you choose. You can also create new tests and upload them to any of your courses.
