Amos

Vendor IBM.com
Description Amos is a special purpose statistical add-on software package that estimates structural equation models (SEM) for manifest and latent variables. Its point-and-click interface makes it easy to learn and use, but a fairly high level of statistical sophistication is required to use.  Using Amos, you specify, estimate, assess, and present your model in an intuitive path diagram to show hypothesized relationships among variables. This enables you to test and confirm the validity of claims such as "value drives loyalty" in minutes, not hours.

SPSS

PLEASE NOTE:IBM has significantly changed the terms of ECU’s SPSS licensing, and we must adjust our process for the coming yearly renewal.

Faculty/staff: License renewal forms are requesting more information such as the location (home or office) of each installation and usage statistics for each module. For research or teaching use only. A current license expires 30 days after the renewal notice.

Students are encouraged to use the Virtual Computing Lab (VCL) or on-campus computer labs; a software request form is required for home use and is only valid through August 2012. After that time, students are no longer eligible for this license and must purchase their own SPSS through online sellers or the bookstore.
