Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Reader and Acrobat

Updated: Wednesday, March 18, 2009

Last month, a critical vulnerability was identified in Adobe Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 and earlier versions. This vulnerability could cause the program to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.

Please review the security bulletin posted at Adobe: http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb09-04.html, and take the recommended steps for your version of the software.
