Online Anytime Training - New Horizons
ITCS offers Web-based non-curriculum training courses that are free of charge to all ECU faculty, staff, and students. You can choose from a comprehensive library of courses that cover: Microsoft Office software, operating systems, Web browsers, Web design/layout and programming, Adobe software, and much more. These courses are beneficial for personal development, self-paced learning or faculty course enhancements.
To take advantage of the online anytime training, you will need to register online. Take a look at the tutorials (
see below) and then register by filling out the
Online Training Form available through our Online IT Help Desk. A userid and password will be sent within three working days. Please note there may be a time limit on userid's as the demand increases.

How do I obtain a user ID/password?
Fill out the Online Training Form at help.ecu.edu >> Submit Online Request >> The form is located in the Request Software section on the left >> Online Anytime Training - New Horizons.
Can I access online training from Home?
Yes – Online training is available via the web 24 by 7, at home or at work or even in the computer labs. Once you have been given your userid and password, along with the URL you are set to take class anywhere anytime.
How long does it take to get a user ID and Password?
Within 3 working days of the original request.
How long does my account remain active?
Once you are given an account, your account will be monitored every two weeks. If your account remains inactive for two weeks or more, it will be deactivated. As long as you use your account, it will remain active. If your account becomes deactivated, you will need to reregister.
How do I reactivate my account?
You can re-apply at any time.
