Banner HR Online Training Classes

Training classes for Banner HR were originally offered during the summer of 2007. If you are new, were unable to attend, or just need a refresher, these classes were recorded and can be viewed from your own workstation at your convenience. 

You MUST have either attended a training class in person OR viewed the appropriate class recordings before you can request security access to Banner HR.

The following classes are available for viewing:

Banner Basics Parts 1 & 2
This 2-part seminar will introduce you to basic Banner navigation and terminology. If you are completely new to Banner, you will need to view this first. If you have already been using Banner Student or Finance, you will not need this.

Intro to Banner HR
This class is a prerequisite for all of the other HR Classes. This is where we will introduce people to Banner HR and all of the concepts you will need to understand. This will be the first HR class taken by those who already use Banner Finance or Student Modules.
Prerequisite: Banner Basics or experience with Banner INB for other modules.

Initiating Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAFs)
This class will explain the new electronic process for INITIATING EPAFs which will replace the OneForm. Anyone currently responsible for preparing OneForms should view this class.
Prerequisite: Intro to Banner HR.

Approving Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAFs)
This class will explain the process for APPROVING EPAFs, the electronic process which will replace OneForms. Anyone currently responsible for approving OneForms should view this class.
Prerequisite: Intro to Banner HR

Approving Timesheets for Temps and Students
This class will explain the new electronic process for reviewing and approving timesheets submitted by SPA Temps and Students. SPA Temps and Students are the only employees who must submit time in order to be paid. Anyone currently responsible for approving their time should either view this class or thoroughly review the Approval Process for Web Time Entry Manual.
