You will not notice a difference in Self Service Banner.  However, Internet Native Banner has a new look and feel but functions much the same. 

You can view a recording of the differences from Banner Finance 6 to Banner Finance 7 in the Banner 2006 recordings posted on the Global Classroom website. Here are a few of the changes. 

Main Menu Changes:

The Go field is now the "Go To" field.

Search buttons and blue labeled List of Value texts have been replaced with a drop down arrow. 

New Smart Toolbar allows quicker screen changes.

Quickflows can launch directly from the "Go To" field.

Links on the Main Menu can be personalized.

Change Banner Password by Direct Access on Main Menu.  

Enhanced Changes:

Tabbed forms make navigation from block to block easier.

Right mouse click on clear canvas to view pop-up options list for easy navigation to other areas on the form.

Press the F5 function key for the "Go To" field to pop up at the top of any form. type in the 7 letter identifier and press enter. To cancel, press F5 again.

Use the F2 function key to view a list of other tabbed windows on the same form.  Use the moue or the Up and Down arrow keys to select a different tab, and the Enter Key to select it.  For forms that have tabs within a tabbed window, navigation is based on the location of the cursor when F2 is selected.
