The Banner system is the collection of central administrative systems and data at ECU. Banner is a product of SCT. The SCT Banner system will in the:

• Enhancement of student services through a single university-wide solution of integrated databases
• Automation of the university's administrative services
• Efficient dissemination of accurate and consistent information to faculty, staff, and students
• Uniform application of university policies and procedures
• Enable support of all administrative requirements by the technical support team
• And more

To use the banner system you must attend training as the phases are implemented. The first time you access Banner from your desktop computer, you may have to install additional software on your computer.
