Request Process

  1. Department requests a consult through the online service request system
  2. A tech contacts the department representative
  3. FOAP is entered into Banner for chargeback
  4. Department members receive installation instructions
  5. Department members download app from the ECU Download Center (only available after payment process complete)
  6. Department is contacted each March for renewal

Security

Is your backup secure? Yes.

CrashPlan uses 448-bit file encryption so your data stays encrypted until you need it restored. CrashPlan is also approved for FERPA data, if the user has prior approval. However, please remember that HIPAA and other sensitive data should always be stored on Piratedrive rather than your computer's hard drive or CrashPlan.
