IDX modules supported by the IDX group:

AES - The Application Enhancement System provides us with utilities that enable us to create our own applications.

AVM - Ambulatory Visit Management allows insurance to be added at the visit level versus the account. This provides more accurate billing.

Analyzer - This application allows users to query the data themselves for reports and downloads.

BAR - Billing and Reimbursement is one of our largest modules. It contains: Charge Entry, Receipt Posting, Invoice Inquiry, Batch Maintenance, and Patient Registration - just to name a few.

DBMS - The Database Management System includes a report writer which enables us to retrieve information from the IDX Database and display, format, print, or download the resulting data.

SCHED - Scheduling provides us with the ability to schedule and maintain patient appointments. The system allows you to cancel, reschedule, and keep track of patient appointments, as well as store patient registration information, prepare and maintain provider schedules, create and print form letters, reports, and statistical data.

MTRACK - The Medical Record Chart Tracking application allows you to request, issue, and track a patient's chart. It stores information about the location of this record. When a patient has an appointment with a provider, a request is made to the Record Department to log out the patient's chart to the provider's location.

EFG - Encounter Form Generator is an application used to create, maintain, and print encounter forms. Encounter forms, or "charge tickets", are standardized documents, used to record information about a patient's visit.

PCS - The Paperless Collection System is designed to track and follow-up on collectibles. It allows the user to efficiently manage the collection process.

SEC - Security Plus is a front-end security package for all IDX software products. It allows a system manager to control access to the system, restrict users to certain applications, and to restrict users to certain functions and activities within applications.

TES -Transaction Editing System is an application that allows user to create charges. These charges are checked against edits. If information is missing, users can correct it prior to it going out on a claim.
