How can I obtain Antivirus Software?
All networked Windows and Macintosh computers must run Symantec AntiVirus software. This software keeps your computer free from viruses and other malicious malware, like spyware and adware. At ECU, there is a site license for Symantec products that is available to:

• Registered/enrolled students
• All full- and part-time faculty and staff (not available to retirees)
• Students, faculty and staff are allowed to download Symantec products to one home computer that is used for class assignments or work.
• All campus computers and computer lab systems
  

Get Started
Software can be downloaded from ECU's Download Center at http://download.ecu.edu General Files >> Virus and Security Applications. If you have problems downloading Symantec AntiVirus, please call the IT Help Desk at 252.328.9866/1.800.340.7081. 

Students can contact the ACE Student Support Center on either campus or Reznet from residence halls. Mac users can view instructions at http://www.ecu.edu/cs-itcs/mac/index.cfm
