Based on Snow Leopard X.6.2 and Entourage EWS (13.0.3)

Step 1: Go into Entourage, open your archived message. Click on the link and launch it in SAFARI. If it does not open automatically in Safari because FireFox or another web browser is set as your default web browser, right-click on the link, copy it and then open it in Safari

Step 2: In the top right of your screen, click on the first icon (Restore button) with the blue arrow.

Step 3:  If this is the first time you've restored an item, you will be asked for the Vault settings. You will need to input the server name you are on and to verify your name.

    KIL-ZZZ        ecumb2

B: Put in your email address and click on Check Name.
    C: Click OK.

Step 4:  A message will appear on your screen when the restore is complete. Click OK to clear it.

Click OK

Step 5: Go to Entourage. It may take a second for it to sync with the server but a folder will appear outside of the inbox called "Restored Items".

RestoredFolder

NOTE:
    •    You can move or delete the Restored Items folder to another location but note that if you restore another email, another Restored Items folder will reappear in the same location.
    •    Also, sometimes the Restore may take a minute. If the folder does not appear within that time, please quit and re-open Entourage.
    •    The Restored Items folder will appear in Apple Mail.
