The iPad has a multitude of features, including apps for mail, calendar, YouTube, iTunes, as well as tools for taking and saving notes, photos, and contacts - just to name a few. At ECU, you can use your iPad for accessing several of our Learning Technologies. Some are still in the testing stage and will be available in the near future, so see the details below for any limitations.
ECU OneStop MobileThe iPad is now supported by Onestop Mobile, a portal to ECU course and personal information. If you have an iPad, simply go to OneStop using the default web browser. The experience is nearly identical to what you’ve been using on your iPhone or iPod. OneStop mobile for the iPad is here
BlackboardBlackboard is coming soon to your mobile device via Blackboard Mobile Learn! ECU’s current version of Blackboard does not support iPad use; however, we are upgrading to Blackboard 9 in the spring, which supports Blackboard Mobile Learn. This app allows students and instructors to interact with Blackboard on their Android, Blackberry, iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad device. CentraCentra participants have the ability to join a Centra event using an iPhone or an iPad. Participants can hear and speak, utilize the emoticon buttons, participate in text chat and view the content area, all from their mobile device.

MoodleUsing an iPad faculty and students can access course content in Moodle, participate in a forum discussion, view grades, and much more. The only current restriction is that Moodle users are not able to upload files into a course using an iPad.
WordPressUsing your iPad, you will have access to all of the major Word Press features. You can add users, posts, pages, categories, comments, change themes, appearance and settings. The only current restrictions are limited access to Tools and moving widgets.
