Walk-in IT Help Desk

The Walk-in IT Help Desk is an on-campus location where faculty and staff can receive technology consulting in a friendly walk-in environment. The center also offers workshops and demonstrations on new technology, provides one-on-one training/consulting sessions, and allows access to equipment and software tools that may not be available within departments.

Equipment and software are provided by ITCS and other departments across campus for use by university faculty and staff. Students may use the facilities on an as-needed basis. The Walk-in IT Help Desk also serves as the center for Opscan processing.

Visit the Walk-in IT Help Desk in Austin 103* between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm (summer hours 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F) with your technology needs. The Walk-in IT Help Desk resources are available on a first come, first served basis. Use of these resources and one-on-one training/consulting are generally only for short-term projects or tasks. If you require long term use of equipment, need extended one-on-one training/consulting or have a specific need please, call 328-5401 to schedule an appointment or to find out what services are currently available. While we take pride in offering technology resources, we are unable to furnish every type of technology that is requested.
