Access Campus Voicemail

Each campus telephone system – Cisco VoIP and Nortel PBX – has its own voicemail system.

Cisco VoIP Voicemail System


The Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone system manages most digital communications, including voicemail, instant messaging, email, calendar, contacts and tasks through one interface using Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging.

Campus Telephone Access

  1. Dial the access number, 252.328.9870 or press the messages button on your campus telephone.
  2. Enter your PIN*
  3. Follow the prompts to access messages, calendar and other options.

Off-Campus Telephone or Mobile

  1. Dial the access number, 252.328.9870.
  2. Enter your campus extension number
  3. Enter your PIN*
  4. Follow the prompts to access messages, calendar and other options.

Outlook/Piratemail Inbox Access

  1. Missed telephone calls and voicemail messages appear in your Exchange inbox as a message.
  2. The inbox message includes options to listen to the message from Outlook/Piratemail or from your campus telephone.
