Voice Mail

The Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone system manages phone communications on both campuses, including voice mail, instant messaging, email, calendar, contacts and tasks through one interface using Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging.

PINs are set up through the Outlook Web App (Web) interface. From Outlook, click File >> Account Information >> Manage Voice Mail button.

Check voice mail messages three ways:

Campus Telephone

  1. Dial 252.328.9870 or press the messages button
  2. Enter your PIN
  3. Follow prompts to access messages, calendar, etc.

Off-Campus Telephone or Mobile

  1. Dial 252.328.9870
  2. Enter your campus extension
  3. Enter your PIN
  4. Follow prompts to access messages, calendar, etc.


  • Missed calls/voice messages are saved as an email message. Play back through computer or campus phone
  • Messages are listed in the Lync interface
