Current Uses: Teleconferences & Tele-education classes for the College of Education Administration, Faculty, Staff, and students.
The College of Education has additional video conferencing units. Three are located at Wachovia Partnership East Sites, one at Greene County Middle School and two units are being used for testing. Several departments in the College of Education also own view stations capable of H.323 video conferencing: LTDI in Joyner East and BCTE in Bates.
The room is equipped with a Polycom FX Viewstation. It is capable of point-to-point and multi-point calls for up to four sites. The room has a document camera, VCR for recording and or broadcast, and a Smart Board. A LCD projector can be made available.
